Experience

Senior Marine Surveyor & Lead Auditor

Bureau Veritas

As a senior marine surveyor, I conducted inspections of marine vessels, including yachts, according to Bureau Veritas (BV) rules, evaluating their condition and ensuring adherence to safety standards. My expertise includes surveying damage and advising on repairs, preparing survey documentation and certifications.

As a lead auditor, I conducted audits and inspections to verify compliance with International Safety Management (ISM), International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS), and Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) regulations on behalf of various flag administrations.

Leading a team of 100 across dry docking and repairs, I ensured efficient execution of work orders. This role required me to wear many hats – from supervising skilled and unskilled workers to identifying and sourcing necessary engineering materials.
